Computation and Optimization 1 Lab
(Credit Hours:Lecture Hours:Lab Hours)
(1:0:2)
Offered
F
Prerequisite
concurrent with Math 320, Math 345
Description
Students will program algorithms and use functions to implement the optimization algorithms taught in Math 320. Applications will be presented, and students will develop models and apply the results of the computations to the application domain.
Desired Learning Outcomes
Prerequisites
Minimal learning outcomes
Students will be able to model many applications effectively using the concepts covered in Math 320. They will be able to use software to do the computations that are central to these concepts, and will be able to interpret and apply the results of those computations in the contexts in which the models originated.
